All you need is love and wine

Welcome to Ann River Winery and Vineyard! We are located on the banks of Ann River, one mile south of Mora, MN.

We love what we do here and our mission is to Protect our land and grape vines with environmental sensitivity through the use of farming practices and vinting (winemaking) methods to produce quality fruit and wine using as few resources and energy as possible and be economically sustainable; and thereby, offer our customers a quality wine at a fair price.

We are proud of the quality MN made wine and the inviting atmosphere we provide when you visit our tasting room. We are a family run business who loves what we do, we hope you will love it too!

our story

Dream it.

It all started with a big open hayfield, and a dream of transforming into more. Steve’s love of wine making and Luke’s love of farming cultivated this into reality.

GROW IT.

We planted our first 1000 plants in 2006 with hope that they would survive. They did so we kept planting more and now have 6400 vines which produce an average of 40-50 tons of grapes a year.

BUILD IT.

In 2015 the production and tasting room started to be built. Wine from 2017 harvest could be bottled and sold when we opened the tasting room in August 2018.
